All Transformers Optimus iPhone case can't be shifted from footpaths, Bescom tells HC
The Bangalore Verve Supply Company (Bescom) on The following friday submitted before the Karnataka High Mandement that it cannot shift over sixteen, 000 Transformers Optimus case from City walkways. In a public interest litigation archived by G R Mohan, a City-based commend, the Bescom has filed a certain affidavit stating that not all the sixteen, 811 transformers in Bangalore Metro Area Zone (BMAZ) on footpath can be shifted. The affidavit, signed by J K Udaykumar, Chief Engineer, (Electricity), Bescom, states that of these the most cost effective, 084 transformers 550 can be transplanted to government or civic complaisance sites; 217 shifted to old distribution transformer centres in regime civic amenities sites; 32 if you want to metro or flyover medians and as a consequence 276 transformers can be shifted on top of self execution transformers with enhancing. Bescom has said that transformers are shifted based on availability of land and as a consequence network feasibility. "If place is simply not just available at load centres, transformers are placed extending the network out from the load centre, " the voucher says. Stating that Bescom caught safety measures on all transformers built, the affidavit says that there has only one accident related to transformer while in South Circle. Mentioning that the set operating switches (GOS) used by electrical power engineers for maintenance work are already obstructions to the pedestrians, the voucher says, "transformers on footpath combined with GOS causing obstructions have been uncovered and 60, 000 contracts have always been entered into to modify the same. The GOS have been redesigned to be cut off 10 feet from the ground level so that there exists obstruction to pedestrians.
